Blog #2 :Answer the question on text book (Yuna)

Hi, this is Yuna.

I chose the question number 6 “Do you believe you are more productive because of all your electronic devices?”

Yes, I really think so. For instance, now I use mobile phone as a calculator, schedule table and music player. Electronic devices give us more choices than before. I can keep in touch with my friends who live far away by using them and also use them as a help when I’m in face of danger. At the same time, we must not forget the risk of using it. We have to take responsibility when we comment on other people’s blog or writing something on Twitter or Facebook. And spending too much time on internet or other devices will affect bad on our health. It leads to stiff neck and tiredness of eyes. These electronic devices make you more productive if you use it in your best way.

Blog #2: answer to question in taxt book (on page 107)

Hi, this is Mayuko! I choose question 4, "Do you like having cell phone and other mobile devices that allow you to be more available to others?”

My answer is obviously yes. I can say that my life would be more inconvenient without my cell phone. I use cell phone not only to call or text my family and friends but also to listen music, play games, enjoy online shopping and even study.  In these days, cell phone and other mobile devices have been developed remarkably. It is not much to say that people can do anything using cell phone. For instance, people can take picture as high quality as digital camera can take and share these photo with other people. Also, people can connect with people who live in different country through SNS using app in cell phone. Cell phone and other mobile devises make our lives richer and enjoyable.

Blog #2: The answer to the question on a textbook (Eikou)

Hello, this is Eikou. I will answer the question No. 5 on a textbook (p.107). I do not ask anyone to help me out with setting electronoc devices up when I buy any type of them. I have been familiar with those devices since when I was about 3 years old because my father likes computer and new electronic devices which he buys them every time they are on sale.

Through observing what he did when I was a kid, I could set them up without reading a printed instruction (as you may notice a three-year-old boy cannot read the senteces properly at all.). I feel it is pretty easy for everybody now to set them up if they follow the instructions on a computer screen but not the printed instructions. Nowadays, I show my mother and my friend how to use/set up them.

Blog2: Question of text p. 107 (Minami)

Hello, I'm Minami.

I chose question number 5 from a text on page 107.

I need someone who set electronical devices up instead of me, though depending sorts of devices.  I can set up small devices like phones and cameras, but can't do computers.  Since I have a little knowledge about computers and hate treating them, my mother always set new laptops up for me.  However, she is also not good at treating computers, so she has always troubles setting them up and spends too much time on it.  She says that the way of setting computers up should be less complex.  I also think so.  The problems of setting computers up are taking a long time and difficult vocabularies.  These make people get confused and irritated.  Electronic devices are very useful, but they can cause troubles until preparing for using them.

Blog #2: Questions on Page 107(Koichi)

Hello. This is Koichi.

I'll answer the  question number 6; Do you believe you are more productive because of all your electronic devices?

I think my electronic devices make me more productive, especially my smart phone. With this device, I can access to the SNS, such as Facebook and Twitter, every time I want. Because of them, I'm more productive; for instance, I can share my photos with my friends on Facebook. It means I produce myself to the world. I can also know what my friends are doing through Twitter, for example. As you know, SNS has big power to effect people all over the world. Please watch this movie below. Although it's a quite long one, you can see the power of SNS.
Now I have some question for you. Do you hane a twitter account or a Facebook one? If you do, how often do you use that?

Blog #1:Turkish police break up Istanbul park protest

Hi, I am Mayuko!

I read article about protest that happened in Turkey in Asahi Sinbun digital on May 31st , 2013.

*summery*
Riot police used tear gas and pressurised water to exclude protest at an Istanbul park on May 31st. The protesters claimed that the park should be protected from plans that include the construction of a shopping mall, which is one of development project by government for campaign to host olympics in 2020.  12 people -including a prominent journalist- were injured because of the protest. The protest continued until next morning.
At the same time, over thousand of people joined a protest against government and police in western city,Izmir and capital city,Ankara.
They aired grievances against Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan‘s Islamic-rooted government, which has been seen as displaying increasingly authoritarian and uncompromising tendencies in its third successive term in office.

*opinion*
Reason why I choose this article is that this topic is related to Olympic in 2020. Both Istanbul where the protest was happened and Tokyo are candidate city of Olympic 2020. Istanbul is very beautiful and interesting city comparing to other candidate cities  because Istanbul is located between western world and eastern world.  In addition, there is possibility that  Olympic be held in islamic world for the first time. However, as you can see in the article, there is negative aspect to held Olympic in Istanbul. It can be said that there are uncertainties in terms of security. I think that safety is the most significant thing to held Olympics. Host city must have responsibility for protect millions of people who come to watch wonderful performance by top athletes. On the other hand, Tokyo is the safest city in the world and it is the biggest appeal point.
So what do yo think that Tokyo's fear factor to held Olympics? Also, do you want to see Olympic 2020 in Tokyo?
